 |
Concord, NH - Marion Pawlek has recently been appointed Executive Director of the New England Rural Health RoundTable.
Mr. Pawlek, a resident of West Lebanon NH, has over 25 years of health care experience in the areas of finance and policy development. Most recently, he provided community development services to several of the federally funded community health centers in New Hampshire and Vermont. He holds an MBA from Plymouth State University and a B.A. from Colby College, and served a term in the NH House of Representatives.
The New England Rural Health RoundTable is a non-profit, membership driven organization composed of a diverse group of individuals and organizations committed to improving health and health care throughout rural New England communities. The RoundTable was established in 1997 with funding from the National Rural Health Association and the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and serves as the regional rural health association for Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
The RoundTable's Annual Symposium is held in October, while education, networking, and advocacy activities are conducted throughout the year. Bryan Ayars, the RoundTable board President and Administrator of the New Hampshire Rural Health and Primary Care Section stated "We are excited to have Mr. Pawlek on board and look forward to the RoundTable's increased ability to help local, regional, and statewide organizations improve access to health care for individuals in rural New England."
